Information for Hotels

Everything you need to know about participating in Mastercard Hotelnacht 2027. January 16 & 17, Amsterdam.

Content Submission

What we need from you

We kindly request the following items in digital format. Please send them via a single Dropbox or WeTransfer link, not as individual files through email.

  • Hotel logo — preferably in EPS format, suitable for both web and print
  • High-resolution images (300 dpi) — exterior/facade, a room, and ideally a distinctive feature. Also: bar, restaurant, wellness. Evening shots welcome. All images must be royalty-free
  • Video content — for social media use
  • Hotel text — max. 120 words in Dutch, targeted at Amsterdam residents
Bookings

How bookings work

Your Ticket Provider

All bookings and payments are handled by guests through our own platform (Your Ticket Provider). The hotel's only task is to reserve the allotment for Mastercard Hotelnacht. Don't forget to also set aside rooms for journalists and influencers.

Vroegboekweekend

Starting from the Vroegboekweekend on September 19 & 20, a Mastercard Hotelnacht package can be booked: a double room with two extra discounted festival tickets. Rooms cannot be booked separately.

Booking updates

Leading up to the festival weekend, we will send the hotel updates with information on the rooms sold so far. Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be canceled by the hotel without written consent (via info@hotelnacht.nl).

At check-in

The guest will have already paid the full amount at check-in through our platform. The hotel may ask for a credit card guarantee for extra services such as minibar usage.

Room rate

€160 per room, per night
including VAT

Tourist tax does not apply for locals. In some hotels breakfast is included; otherwise we recommend offering it at a special rate.

In our updates (Excel), the room rate per person is displayed including the festival ticket cost. This per-person amount may change due to special promotions. The hotel always receives the fixed room rate per booking.

Payment to hotels

Payment to the hotel will be made after the festival weekend, based on the final number of bookings (including any additional services booked via the Mastercard Hotelnacht platform).

A detailed summary, including the calculation on which the hotel's invoice should be based, will be provided.

Programme

Culinary, creative, cultural

An essential part of Mastercard Hotelnacht is the culinary, creative and cultural programming. It is not required to organise something, but we strongly advise doing so!

For a successful Mastercard Hotelnacht, it's important to have enough events that do not require reservations, in addition to dinners, brunches, tastings and workshops which often do require reservations.

For all events, a festival ticket is required (which can also be purchased separately via our app). Hotels are not allowed to sell their own tickets or charge additional fees outside of the special F&B offerings.

If a reservation is needed, it can only be made through the Mastercard Hotelnacht App to avoid confusion. The reservation is then forwarded to the hotel's provided email address. We recommend that hotels confirm reservations themselves to prevent no-shows.

Open events

Free-to-walk-in activities that create atmosphere and buzz. Think: live music, DJ sets, art installations, or a cocktail experience. These are visible in the app and attract walk-in visitors.

Reservation events

Curated experiences with limited capacity: chef's tables, wine tastings, workshops, or wellness sessions. Reservation-only via the Hotelnacht App. Hotels can send a payment link upon confirmation.
